Owned and operated by Chef Sonam Nyorie, a Tibetan immigrant who came to the US in 2010, Momo honors the cuisine of his homeland, while also drawing on his skills as a sushi chef — a craft he's developed working in multiple sushi restaurants on the east coast and in the Twin Cities. Sonam started his entrepreneurial journey with popular food truck, Volcano Hibachi, which he describes as a great learning experience and a stepping stone to his dream of restaurant ownership. With the goal of providing delicious, healthy food within a happy, inviting environment, Chef Sonam and his family are excited to welcome everyone to Momo Sushi.
